E-books

Here is a quick e-book guide which has been created to help you download your e-books.

Mandatory module guide study text

All four study texts to support the mandatory modules for the Certificate and Diploma are now available and e-book format. All students (UK and international) will receive an e-book for their module once they have booked their assessment with CIM.

We are unable to send students an e-book until their assessment booking has been received and processed. Students should therefore be advised to book their assessment at the earliest possible opportunity, to allow them maximum time to benefit from their e-books. E-books are issued to students within 5 working days of their assessment booking being processed.

From Monday 21 September 2015 two study texts will also be available for the Foundation Certificate in Marketing. Again these will also be issued as e-books to students once they have booked their assessments. (One study text available for each mandatory module).

Hard copies of the Certificate and Diploma e-books are available for students to purchase from our Bookshop. These are currently available at a reduced price of £10.00 plus P&P and can be ordered by calling CIM Direct on +44 (0)1628 427427.

Inspection copies for the mandatory modules; Marketing, Integrated Communications, Strategic Marketing and Mastering Metrics have been sent to all tutors. If you have not received your e-books please email ebooks@cim.co.uk with your request. Tutors can purchase hard copies at the reduced price of £10.00 plus P&P by calling CIM Direct on +44 (0)1628 427427.

Elective modules reading

Although there are no official module guide study texts for the elective modules, students who have registered for the new syllabus Certificate and Diploma assessments will be issued with an e-book for the module in question. The e-book titles which they will receive are:

Certificate – Digital Marketing – Understanding Digital Marketing 3rd edition (Damian Ryan). Kogan Page.

Certificate – Customer Experience – Customer Experience 3.0 (John A Goodman). Amacom.

Diploma – Digital Strategy – Digital Marketing Integrating Strategy and Tactics with Values (Ira Kaufman & Chris Horton). Routledge.

Diploma – Driving Innovation – HBR’s 10 Must Reads on Innovation (Harvard Business Review). Harvard Business Press.

E-books are issued to students within 5 working days of their assessment booking being processed.

Inspection copies for the electives: Tutors would need to contact the publisher of each book to request inspection copies of these titles as CIM is unable to issue these free of charge.
